The 100 Days of Summer Have Arrived

In Galveston, Texas the long awaited summertime has arrived!! The weather is great, the water is warming up, the fishing is awesome, the beaches are beautiful and the seafood is 2nd to none!! All our boats have been having outstanding catches in the last few weeks and the fishing will just continue to get better all summer. Some of the biggest King fish and Ling are being caught now as well as some nice grouper, lane snapper, vermilion snapper, and mangrove snapper. Red Snapper season opens in just a few days on June the 1st and will run for 46 days through July 16th this year. We are starting to see lots of sharks showing up along the beachfront and around shrimp boats and wrecks, and the Bull Reds should be around the jetties all summer. We have also starting catching some nice speckled trout on our half day trips up to 8 lbs. and the Sheepshead run is still going on for at least another month. Red Snapper season is almost here and we are excited! It will be 46 days this year beginning June 1st and ending at 12:01 am on July 17th. We have 2 federally permitted boats and they are starting to get booked up. We do still have a few Sunday's left in June and quite a few week days. We also have some weekends still available in July.
